question about Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana to devs

So this is actually weird but this weapon doesnt make any extra dmg for Dragonlord Placidusax. How so? Is it not fking Dragon to u? @FromSoftware

Placidusax is not flagged as either a dragon or an ancient dragon, so your katana won't receive a damage bonus.

eldenwiki says "This massive, two-headed dragon is found in Crumbling Farum Azula". so its dragon, bloody Dragonlord. It looks like a dragon. And it does some dragon sh1t right? Yeah, a little down below it also says "Counts as neither Dragon type nor Ancient Dragon type, and so does not take extra damage from dragon weapons or Dragonwound Grease." This is kinda stupid. Its like saying I see a dog when u actually see dog and everyone else know that its dog but someone tells u its not dog just because

He's unique. His spell doesn't even benefit from Dragon seals.

It's a bug.
Devs prolly forgot to add the dragonlord the speffect that makes him count as a dragon. Or whatever the weapon effect uses and if they had to add every single id what gets damaged more by the weapon.

Ok I checked the 1.13.1 regulation.bin.
It's not considered a dragon hunting weapon lel.
"isDragonSlayer" is 0 for "Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana"

Nvm, seems isDragonSlayer is only used for Greatbows and Ballista/Cannon. Dunno what param/cell makes it so that dragons take more dmg from said weapon.

Placidusax might be unique, perhaps a benefit for being the dragonlord?
