ok so this is gonna be a bit crazy but i was watching this video from garrulous goldmask here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNHZrJ5BIXE and i got to the part about elden rin 1.0.0's DEATH TREE which draws power from death into itself... this tree was said to be the SHADOW OF THE GOLDEN ORDER (the golden order is tantamount to the erdtree) and just as we see marikas rune of life with the rune of death being is total opposite with most of all, the suppressing tower in the shadow of the erdtree where ALL MANNERS OF DEATH WASH UP, i personally believe that the scadu tree in order to be seperated from the rune of life which it was so closely related to and subsequnetly such a necesary part of as life without death would make no sense and lead one to madness in their eternal life, i believe that 'sealing the rune of death within her shadowbound beast' may perhaps mean the ENTIRE shadow of the erdtree map is actually the largest evergaol that LITERALLY exists within the beast clergyman and that deathroot is the seeds of the shadow tree that when fed to the beast clergyman literally force the seeds of the shadow tree which i personally now will call the death tree as i call the erdtree the life tree, is literally sending the possible sprouts of the death tree back from whence they came and escaped from as they attempt to keep the containment of death in check and that maybe, godwyn's deathblight is in truth just an extenstion of the rune of death through the distorted lens of a child of marika who seemingly more than any other, symbolized the golden orders commitment to the comlete removal of death from the world and so while spreading deaths influence, its still tainted with the golden order of the life trees life giving nature bringing about 'those who live in death' with hes the only vector death has to try to pull itself from its gaol and reunite with the rune of life to create a whole similar to the hollowbrand seemingly of destined death akin to how while marikas rune of life is the stake with her on it we see with deaths of course being the opposite with the upsidedown stake top with it instead of being a prison of eternal life, being a blade of destined death, the hollowbrand is the opposite of the symbol of the golden order as one is about eternal life without death and the other is eternal death while yet living perhaps showing perhaps like when ranni broke the hollowbrand by dying at the exact same moment as godwyn so he would die in soul as she died in body showing that true nature that when you break the order of things, madness arises like ranni living yet bodiless and godwyn who is dead yet his body still lives with also as a sidenote, death sorceries only have ONE centipede as you only channel the power of death to summon forth the souls of those whose bodies were burned and raked as ashes in ghostflame.
