Is impenetrable thorns absolute trash now??

I can barely hit for 1k anymore. Did they nerf it to the ground ? Am I doing it wrong ? Just seems like a terrible spell now.

Tracking was increased, but it hits for less damage and less bleed build up per hit as per the patch notes.

Base damage cut in half and takes multiple close casts to proc bleed. Feels bad but it's 24 Faith so I'm not offended by the change.

Definitely not trash, it’s just not nearly as devastating as it was. Still very viable

They fixed the extra attacks from happening so it no longer deals and absurd amount of damage.

I mean the range is terrible and the animation is forever for something that does like 1k its not worth at all

It's "absolute trash" in the same way rotten breath is now "absolute trash" - that is, it went from being ridiculously overpowered to only slightly less ridiculously overpowered. It's still a top tier sorcery and probably the best spell or incantation from the entire DLC.

bleed build up still looks really good, which is probably what they want to the spell to actually be good at

It's still good. It just isn't a win button anymore against bosses that can be bled out.

But i remember all too well when people said SONF was trash after nerf....
but it only went from broken op best weapon in the game to -> pretty damn good TOP 10 weapon in the game.

people tend to call everything that doesnt give them an instant win button "trash"
