I'll try the fix cuz the thing has been totally empty since around DS3's final patch for me. I just wanna be able to block the literal cheaters I get from time to time (the dudes that spam every effect in the game at the same time in the entire level).
Does that make me cringe, senpai?
You call that person a weirdo because they reframed a situation that you are indeed identifying as stressful and made it be a tool to help with stress and mood management? That is actually what's weird.
If you did own a business and based on what you said here, i'm not even sure you have much experience outside of hospitality and retail. You would WISH you had people like me. In fact, not just people, but clones.
People piss and moan all day everyday about IRL crap that is so trivial it's almost nauseating. However, these same people that complain non stop will commit countless hours to getting gud at any particular thing, in this case Elden Ring. Somehow they summon the force of will to overcome in a game, but not in real life. My correlation between gaming and real life was a attempt to show to the original poster that he can make good use of the time he is using gaming if he can internalize that force of will in any given daily activity. If you read through the discussion here the OP had indicated his life is already stressful enough and does not need the added stress of a difficult game.
Additionally I did not say "wear down" I said "Overcame". Overcoming something is not wearing down. I did not talk Radahn to death, or bore him to suicide. I stuck it out. Learned the patterns and overcame the obstacle.
Our words paint the world around us, Kala. They also reveal our own philosophy.
I love you. You were made for something amazing. You already have the gift, but sometimes it can be hard to open the box.
This guy gets it.
You'd be very surprised to know a lot of IRL situations with people can be overcome just by talking/boring them out to the point they just accept whatever it's getting thrown at.
Indeed, the majority of soulsborne discussions are won by boring the interlocutor down into either leaving or dropping the argument.
