Mohg is the short version, Mohgwyn his full first name, I believe. Might be some kind of suffix (if it's that how you'd call it) given to his name. Godwyn has it as well, no idea if he'd be called God as a short form then lol

No I think Mohg is his name, while MohgWYN is the name of his dynasty. He even says it out loud when you kill him:

"I can see it now, as clear as day, the coming of my dynasty - Mohgwyn!"

Upon checking the wiki, this is correct:
Map of Mohgwyn Palace and environs.

In the lightless depths lies the grave of an ancient civilization. It is here Mohg, the Lord of Blood, is building his palace, to be the seat of his coming dynasty named Mohgwyn. And whatever nightmares that may bring.

edit: thanks for pointing it out, Old Captain Yon :praisesun:

So seemingly some chars got "wyn" behind their name. For Mohg it means a dynasty and for God its his name?

That's a good question. No idea how the nomenclature of the Land Between works, or in regards to what the meaning of a person's name is, if there even is one.
