Whats the difference between Mohg and Mohgwyn

i dont quite understand, why are there 2 names of him?

Mohg is the short version, Mohgwyn his full first name, I believe. Might be some kind of suffix (if it's that how you'd call it) given to his name. Godwyn has it as well, no idea if he'd be called God as a short form then lol

No I think Mohg is his name, while MohgWYN is the name of his dynasty. He even says it out loud when you kill him:

"I can see it now, as clear as day, the coming of my dynasty - Mohgwyn!"

That's a good question. No idea how the nomenclature of the Land Between works, or in regards to what the meaning of a person's name is, if there even is one.
