Is miquella cursed to forever be a child/youth or does he have a medical condition?

I've been having an argument with someone who's claiming that Miquella is an adult and he has a disability that makes him look like a child like in real life medical conditions so therefore it's alright to be attracted to him. Can anyone clarify this to me?

I doubt Miquella has benjamin button syndrome, Miyazaki just has a quota to put at least 1 femboy in every game he makes. The only curse here is the dev's addiction to effeminate men. The gist is he is cursed with eternal youth but his soul is old. The point of the hailgate tree was so he could "grow up" but it failed. Yeah it is an excuse that wears thin.

He is an adult, he is thousands of years old.... literally a twin of Malenia. Dont think real world, Accept game lore as fact. A child isnt capable of being the most fearsome demigod, or plotting and mastering magic to the extent miquella has. Fantasy isnt reality. Sadly, some people cant separate it.... but well, mohg was miquellested because miquella is a devious adult.

Lore states he has a child hood curse which gives him a child's form, and he has been trying to cure it.

The remembrance of Malenia literally says the following:
Remembrance of Malenia, Goddess of Rot, hewn into the Edrtree.

Miquella and Malenia are both the children of a single god. As such they are both Empyreans, but suffered afflictions from birth.
One was cursed with eternal childhood, and the other harbored rot within.

I get the "she's actually a 10000 year old dragon in the body of a 12 year old" argument you're making, but that's just what the lore is. Marika gave birth to lots of children that have several afflictions. Eternal youth, rot, the literal embodiment of heresy, children born without the grace of the Erdtree, you name it.

Kinda true, even though this has only really been a thing for Ds1, from what I recall. I don't remember any character like that in Bloodborne or Ds2, and Aldrich doesn't really count, my opinion.

You could also say the 1000 year old dragon or 500 year old vampire is cursed to be a child forever or is cursed with eternal youth as well.

Sounds like just semantics.

Nothing in the lore specifically states he has the mind of a child. How would that even work? He supposed to be born with the curse. Was he born already looking like a child with the 'mind of a child'? Was he born a baby with the 'mind of a child' and grow until his body matched?
It makes the most sense that eternal youth just means his body never grew past what would be considered adolescence.

If the mind can't grow then ideas can't grow. And if his ideas couldn't grow then he wouldn't have developed the ambition that led to his quest.

you can be attracted to a video game character. miquella in the DLC appears as a young man (who happens to have 4 arms, long hair, about size 10 feet and is 8+ foot tall).

you can also be into the dragon priestess, or igon for that matter. even the prawn guy.

- Miquella, cursed with eternal youth.
- Morgott and Mohg cursed to be Omens, hosts to numerous cursed spirits. Most likely hornsent spirits.
- Messmer, born with the serpents and the fire which he considered a curse.

Those children were made my Marika and Radagon. Self-incest children. I think there's some divine rule that a god should not make children with its own counterpart because they're all born cursed.

Just wanna point out that Morgott and Mohg are Marika and Godfrey's children. The products of self-cest are the wonder twins and Messmer. And Melina.

I mean... One of the descriptions in the game basically states the reason he went into the cocoon we see at Mogh's was to make himself older because of his cursed eternal youth.

It must have worked because he doesn't look like a kid in the DLC.
