An Invader got in the boss fight

I thought it shouldn't happen once you are in the bosses arena.. I joined to help with Rennala and when we were in the second phase an invader was able to get in. Is this a bug or is there a way to get in into a boss fight as an invader?

It's super rare but that's a bug which has been around since release.

It's bug, but I didn't see anyone pointing out Rennala yet. Usually it's Fire giant or Radagon.

If boss invasions were officially introduced with a patch, the outrage would be pretty big, I reckon. Then again, it's not like Demon's, Ds2 or Ds3 didn't have boss invasions, and over time people would either get used to it or just play offline.

Also, pvp is kind of popular, despite what some people might say. There are loud, and at times obnoxious, individuals on both the invasion loving and hating side. But at the end of the day it's just a way to play Elden Ring's multiplayer. At least in my opinion.

Rather easy kill, host fighting for their life trying to avoid Radagon attacks just to be killed by invader

Happens sometimes, in some cases invaders can use the finger item to enter the boss arena, in other they are just stack behind the fog.

It was once a funny case at the bottom of Radahn’s tower, me and one phantom was happily trying to get each other through the fog while the host was bashed by the godskin to death… I guess the phantom found fog fighting more interesting;)

Sound like a good compromise. Some field bosses already damage invaders, so why not during arena boss invasions as well?

ive had it happen to me while i was in the fight with young radahn in the dlc, and lets say its was for sure a journe watching the invader struggle for survival like me with radahn swinging around at us

Yeah it make an equal footin.. I'm going to be honest I'm not always into pvp but it sounds like it could be hella fun if they add that

The fog is the true boss of elden ring every warriors dream is to defeat it
