you should have a max weapon by this far

It might be more fun to experiment for yourself over asking forums what weapon to use

mogh's shackle is an item that can pin him for a few seconds. You find it at the subterranean shunning grounds
Dual bleed whatever.

Personally, I use +25 Hookclaws + Bloodflame Blade.

BHF is fine against Mohg, but you need to actually upgrade your weapons. He literally has a somber dragon stone sitting right outside his boss room, just begging you to +10 your weapon before proceeding. Using a +6 weapon that late in the game, you might as well be bare fisting him.

Anything that causes mega bleed procs. A boss who's entire shtick is all about bleed is also very susceptible to bleed himself.

his tear to protect yourself against his "NIHIL!" is very helpful.
if you want to use bleed weapons. I very like my strength/arcane bleed build and use the claymore bleed infused or the zweihander bleed infused. They are more optimal on a dexterity / arcane build. 40 dex and 40 arcane and the weapons on +24 or +25 do the job.
Good luck!

he gets buffed and deal more damage if you make him bleed
FYI

Try using bleed/frost if you're a bit desperate, but be a little bit more cautious when he does bleed, as it buffs his damage (pretty much Lord of Blood's Exultation).

Get the tear the protects you against "NIHIL!" (I can't remember the name) so you won't have to heal through it.

Uh, try to die after that!

I'm going to say something controversial that's going to rile up a lot of tryhards that need to go touch some grass.

Blasphemous Blade will win you anything :).

He might as well snap your BB like a twig with his 80% Fire resistance.

Doesn't really matter when Taker's Flame deals a nifty 1k damage to him while healing you for 10% Max HP + 150 :).

But if you'd rather get up close on poke him with a spoon, that's your choice I suppose.

Talking about controversial ...
Golden Halberd or Great Axe, either with jump attack and jump attack talisman.
A GH +6 may be dealling around 500 AR, 575 with the taliaman, around 630 with Golden Vow +7.5% damage negation, jump attacks can also auto-dodge good part of his attacks too and dodging at close range is also fine against Mogh.
