Hardest DLC boss.
So what boss in the dlc did you think as the hardest?

To me, it HAD to be Bayle, hands down. I thin I'm currently at 0 and 64 on him.

Yes I do it on NG3 and my scadutree is a lowly 17. But I'm still failing.

What was yours?

bayle is annoying boss. spent 4 or 5 tries on him.
can't focus body, only head. looks like it reads player's input and dashes away on casting slow ashes of war. a lot of aoe attacks and dead angles due to head-only focus. I can't say if it is the hardest one, but I didn't like this fight.

Bayle was definitely the hardest for me, I went back to him after beating Miquella, and still took an hour or so to get it down.

The last boss.

Radahn is probably the hardest DLC boss, but he's still not harder than Malenia.

WTF?! Just went back in for another Bayle fail (yes I am aware of what I said). Random two helpers. Bayle jumps me first. I dodge and then all of a sudden he;s dead. I think he glitched.

Well a win is a win I guess.
So that's the Mesmer and Bayel that I won due to glitches.

I haven't yet even found the road that leads to Bayle, but Messmer is probably the current hardest if not counting Radahn's second phase, though I need more blessings to feel okay in the fight,

Mainly comes down to never learning his aerial stab combo and getting mixed up with the delayed floor scraping sweep way more than I'd like to count lol

Giaus the gate camper. Hardest boss in game when I went through. Otherwise, I had more trouble with Messmer than even Radahn. Using Blas blade build. Doing another run with less spammy weapons, will find out soon.

bayle for sure.

I vote Radahn's second phase for "Hardest because it's a buncha BS" nomination.

Otherwise, I'd say it's a tie between Messmer and Rellana (yes, she is positively brutal on NG+7).

Bayle took me like 4 hours to beat honorably (camera didnt help). His health bar is so large I think that once you actually beat him you're probably not too far away from being able to no hit him

Unironically, so far, the sunflower. The water effects can make it hard to really SEE his ground AoEs sometimes, and the land of shadow orbs go just slow enough and are staggered in just the right way that a poorly timed side roll gets you caught, plus the stupid 3rd phase nuke he does. Sunflower is honestly the reason I started carrying a shield with Vow of the Indomitable on it.

Also Rellana, because she has no chill on combos or spells.

Probably Messmer. I'm almost certain there were snakes slithering where snakes shouldn't slither. Dude was obviously hard as diamonds.

Radhan took me 4 hours to kill. Wipe after wipe until i figured out how to keep rot up all the time and burst him down with godkilling incantations and bleed. The second kill (fully blessed) was a oneshot but i admit i got lucky.

Bayle used the most powerfull skill bosses have in Elden Ring against me.....im of course talking about the camera going bananas. I also lost a lot of precious time trying to rot him when he was jumping in and out of the Scarlet Aeonia.....so after a few hours of wipes i got him with death magic sorceries (ancient rancors, discs and ghostflame).

Special mention for the Winter Lanterns, i know they are not bosses but i went to the abyssal woods pretty early after the expansion launch day. I literally throw every single thing i have to hurt people (wich i have plenty) and after more than one hour i decided to try my claws with the parry ash of war.......after learning how to kill them i googled and found exactly 0 Youtube videos and some Fextra worthless coments "JUST PARRY BROH" or "SNEAK PAST THEM"....amazing.

Radahn, no contest. Bayle is comparatively easy once you figure out not locking on, and especially if you summon hype man Igon.
Orgazmo Jul 7, 2024 @ 5:38pm
Just in DLC hardest was Bayle because it's a total trash design of a fight.

In general new Radahn is outmatched every boss in every souls game, and not in a good way. Looks like Miyazaki developing dementia. Instead of interesting and tricky fight, we got asian bulletstorm. Second phase resembles times when cheater invade and overloads screen with spells and flashes and you game crash. You see nothing, just flashes and you die.
