"Fixed" implies... well, fixing something that was broken and did not work the way it should.
Two completely different things.
Kinda like when someone uses the term "I cheesed", when they just fought the boss normally instead of literally game breaking the fight (ex. Exiting and rejoining the game to break Loretta's AI so she just stands there and doesn't fight back, or crouching behind O'Niel and using poison gas - never activating the fight to begin with, or firing arrows over the walls of Castle Sol, killing Niall without ever having to set foot in the boss room... or even rune farming until your level 215 on your first run of the game and roflstomping all the bosses to oblivion with a +10 mimic tear. Looking at YOU Renalla).
Disclaimer: Most of the examples have more than likely been patched out since the initial launch days.
They fixed hitboxes by nerfing them. Now what?
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Agheel took me like three hours to beat my first run, but now I beat him senseless right out the gate with a base level club
Arrows used to be actually something player had to pay attention to, now it is just a background noise.
