Leyndell Knights weaknesses ?

Do they have any weaknesses vs particular damage type ? (strike,slash,pierce) and/or vs particular elemental damage ? (lightning,holy,fire,frost) and/or vs particular status ailment ?(bleed,poison etc). Thanks in advance. I am looking what kind of weapon and ash is the most effective vs these annoying "paladins".

Do you like shields? With my samurai, 3 counterattack with my uchigatana will break their poise, and 2 critical hits will kill them.

Or, if you're good, you can parry with a shield.

What I usually do is I hit their shield so they counter, and I block their counter to land a counter myself.

Remarkably, they're weak to lightning. Looks like they can dish it out but not take it.

Ik this thread is old at this point but as a general tip, if an enemy is clad in metal armor, they're weak to lightning, and if they're bare skin or just wearing cloth (or if they're made of wood/plant material), they're weak to fire, regardless of their affinity or the types of attacks they use. Also anything undead is weak to holy, and anything heavily armored (unless said armor is noticably inlaid with magic stones and such, like the Carian knights), it's weak to magic.

Greatshield guard counters and impaling thrust wreck them. They are also weak to lighting so put some lighting grease or incant on your weapon if possible.

For casters, the Magma Shot sorcery at medium-close range, where it will hit the locked on target at waist or leg level, even if it hits their shield, will get you enough stagger to chain cast them down.

Take a shield, hug them while going in circles, then backstab when they attack and inevitable miss. Never fails, probably the cheapest and safest option.

Jump attack with anything that can stagger easy, you can jump attack and roll back safelly or you can even jump attackk then jump attack again.
