But that has nothing to do with the Greater Will or the Two Fingers, she herself claims how they would never agree to this, another Finger Reader also claims the same thing.

The Greater Will denied entrance to the Erdtree, and the reason we're burning it is to force ourselves in, aka, going against their wishes.

So the idea of Melina being their slave is utter nonsense.

My objectively correct ending tier list, best to worst:

1. Age of the Stars (the English translation for some dialogue blows, it's unironically the best ending)

2. Age of Order (Goldmask had the right idea, assuming you want to keep the garbage Golden Order around for some reason)

3. Age of Fracture (basic ♥♥♥♥♥ ending, nothing particularly good about it)

4. Age of the Duskborn (I don't care how others interpret it, not going to trust some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and her goon squad)

5. Lord of the Frenzied Flame (burn everything away, it's not new world order, the intent is clearly and unambiguously annihilation)

6. Blessing of Despair (it's ♥♥♥♥, in the most literal sense, just kill everything instead)

Honestly, you could place Lord of the Frenzied Flame as second place, would be fair.

Read about it more, realized I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up lol.

I thought it restored death and let people die naturally, which I thought was pretty badass.

I didn't realize it turned people into ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ zombies. Way worse.

I have no clue how you got that idea, haven't read more about that ending, but it always gave me an impression that ending was all about those who live in death.

For ♥♥♥♥'s sake, Fia is over there simping for a corpse.

While checking the Fextra page to see if I forgot any endings, I read this:

"principle of life within Death is embedded into Order, ridding the world of immortality and allowing the natural cycle of life and death to occur for all people and creatures alike."

I find this to be a questionable interpretation, since I have no idea how LIFE WITHIN DEATH would translate to things dying properly (sure, I can imagine a few examples, but I find them improbable in this context).

From what I know, weren't the dead originally "returned (used as fertilizer)" to the Erdtree, hence why you can see all the corpses entwined with roots in every single catacomb dungeon, before Marika ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that up and had her dog stash the rune of death away?

When I say badass I just meant I thought it would be for the best if people were actually allowed to die instead of constantly getting revived. I just usually mix badass with good in my vocab

Given by it's description it's safe to assume that it will devour everything and everyone, even outside of the Lands Between. Meaning the Land of Reeds, Eochaid, and some other places that are mentioned. That is my interpretation of it, at least.

What do you mean by that? Mild spoilers ahead:


The Abyssal Woods are a byproduct of Midra messing with the Frenzied Flame, if I'm not mistaken. Then again, he was to weak to become an actual Lord of Frenzied Flame during his lifetime, meaning the influence of the Frenzied Flame never properly could set foot in the Shadow Lands. If he turned into a Lord of Frenzied Flame like the player character does in one of the endings, he would act as an agent of the FF and likely burn it all down.
