Question about the end of the DLC (spoilers)

So I get GRRM wrote the plot sorta. They confirmed that Miquella was indeed male. And he had the hots for radahn. So we now have a incest thing going between them since they are siblings, what with radagon and marika sharing the same body. So, why would they ruin radahns captain america image with him being, well, a pedo. Miquella is cursed with eternal youth, sure hes old, but the body of a child is a body of a child, and so far, every lord and god have kids according to the plot....

Dunno, for some reason this really bothered me.

Not trolling or rage baiting, trying to find some positive here. Because they totally jacked up this DLC by having Surprise radahn as the final boss instead of the big build up boss Messmer.

Ranni is an Empyrean, meaning her consort would by rights earn the title of lord.

For you to be correct , it would make sense that Ranni put the ring on your finger , not the other way around.

You just give her back her ring and take an oath with her to become his consort, sharing the same vision of order, the same destiny, certainly not a marriage proposal or nonsense lol

It is also implied by both Melina and items descriptions that Marika had countless nameless offspring, some of which carried in the walking mausoleums.

You're thinking of Gods and demigods, in a land where runes are life essence, you can't minimize it to human terms.

Did you miss the bit where Miquella is a god who charms literally everyone, including Mohg, Radahn, probably Malenia, a whole bunch of Tarnished and possibly even the player if given the opportunity?

Uh, the entire game plot says it. I dont get why people keep rewriting literal in game dialogue.

As for miquella, its still a REALLY weird direction for them to go with the story, and very creepy. I have a feeling thats why Miyazakis entire creative and development team, along with the lady who did eldens music, mass quit last week.

Point to an actual sentence or description then, if the game says it, it should be easy. For all the talk about fingers nobody's fu*king in this game, for good or bad.

Honestly, I can't shake the feeling that the DLC wasn't meant to be about Miquella at all, but about Messmer, then all the talk and speculation about Miquella just made them cave. Same with "Prime Radahn".

The crosses legit feel like an afterthought, there's nothing about Miquella or Radahn in the entire lands of shadows other than the NPCs dialogue and those samey-looking crosses with a vague dialogue prompts that could've easily have been put there after the world was already finished.

Take something like DS3 AoA, you can see Friede's influence all over the painted world of Ariandel, the paintings everywhere, the mold, the scythe weilding enemies, the item descriptions and even the fact that her entire fighting style is mimicking Priscilla. SoTe has none of that when it comes to Miquella, if anything, everything screams Messmer.

Turtle pope says radagon and renalla got married and had three children. Godfry called morgott his son in his cutscene. I mean, its George RR martin who wrote the plot. Do you think they disney’ed the game? Finger reader enia is quoted saying that great runes are the stuff of the demigods, children of the goddess queen marika. I mean, i dunno why people keep thinking that they didnt. How do you think morgott and mogh were born? Godfry and marika rubbed their weapons together? The game is rated M for mature. Not E for everyone. Dur.

Sex happened. Children were born due to it. Its kind of irrational to debate that. Sure some of the gods came from plants or whatever, but when in game item descriptions literally say “daughter of marika and radagon” like malenias, obviously sex happened. Dunno why so many people are uncomfortable with that literal fact. This isn’t tamagotchis. Its not a kids game. George Martin Lannistered elden ring. But the end of SoTE is messed up. And there is literally no plot to support it, its just really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

As for the rest of what you said, i agree. The plot change at the end is typical of fromsoft though, they made this massive build up with the story cutscenes about messmer, then abandoned it for a weird twin princes rebuild.
