I mean there are builds but like you just said, the bosses are only tuned in favor of rolling, its actually garbage, they completely invalidate all of your building desicions constantly and this is more noticeable after mountain top of the giants where they up the damage the enemy and bosses do to you while beefing up their healthpools making it look like you never actually got the best gear etc.
Sekiro was a much better game than this.
Because while armor does matter somewhat, your total Vigor is very important. Are you taking precautions to reduce holy damage against Radagon? He does physical / holy in SPADES.
Also, you just need to learn the bosses moveset. Right away it feels unfair and busted because you just don't know what to expect. Out of all the end game bosses he's actually one of the easier ones once you get down dodging his teleport. Everything else he has is very telegraphed.
I did and I will play it because I want the game complete to play a modded much better version that will for sure happen, there were already many rebalancing mods so I do it for that reason but this is the last time i give my money to this company im done, maybe ill check out another Sekiro but only after i watch extensive amounts of streams to see that they aren't going the exact same cheap route.
50 vigor, 60 endurance, 63 str
Yeah this game is also about memorizing each fight, and that is one of the reason this game is completely unenjoyable, you never learn anything, each new boss is something completely different and its just a frustrating experience on top of what i already said, its just bad game design and a shame compared to Sekiro.
Made 4 posts about it in less than 24 hours. Bro takes this game as a personal attack on being terrible at the game.
and in the DLC, the basic dogs hit like end-game bosses.
