Malenia is the cheapest boss in the series

This is the clear example of how From Software just lost it, if all the BS in Elden Ring wasn't indication enough this boss is the best example in how out of touch they have become, and after all this years they havent nerfed her just showing how delusional this developers have become.

You litterally have to switch your entire build and playstyle to accomodate for this boss BS, you have to cheese it is absurd, its the peak example of what is wrong with the series and why Im not buying another souls game from FS, I'm just done with them.

And if the DLC is similar trash to this boss fight no wonder people are complaining.

Im going to immediately block anyone attacking, insulting, using gaslighting, anyone trying to deny this fact is getting blocked on the spot no ifs or buts, you are getting blocked and you will receive zero attention.

Nah not really, she has one BS move and that’s about it.

If you want true BS you should see the final boss of the DLC.

I'm one of the most average casual player you can find. I'm so clueless I can't come up with a build and spent my entire time playing by merely attacking, blocking and dodging. I didn't have to switch my build since I didn't have one to begin with. I found Malenia to be very fun to fight. She was a lot more simple than Yozora from Kingdom Hearts 3 which is a game for children. Not saying she's not hard, but challenging is a more appropriate word in my opinion.

I even recorded myself if you want.

Edit: Since OP blocked me, I'd like to add that I'm not even a Souls player. This is my first game from FromSoftware and I'm not even a fan of the genre. In fact, I believe the game has flaws. Doesn't prevent me from enjoying what I can out of it.

yea this guy is just bad lmao. ive seen every single build. from new players or veteran players. all beat malenia. even streamers that took hundreds of attempts without changing their build.
youre just not meant to play games that take skill and persistence and thats ok.

Tbf, the Secret bosses in the KH series are always notoriously harder.

I even wonder how they expect kids to defeat them lol.

malenia is fun to fight but she isn't a completely fair boss because of one bs move. messmer is very similar in difficulty but he's actually completely fair unlike malenia

the nuke in phase 2 is literally one of the easiest attacks to dodge, you shouldn't be playing souls games if you can't dodge that one

both, the way the game works its not ready to react with the player when he is not locked with the boss, if you just stay below her and do a 360 running she will go retarded mode and miss you completely

malenia is the anti thesis of the most boring playstyle in elden ring, which is shield turtling, you can easily dodge waterflow by dodging behind twice, then forward once after her first 2 dashes, after that she just misses since the other 3 dashes have terrible turn speed (in other words, you end up behind her and she just attacks the air). Not to mention she has incredibly bad poise.
Promised Consort is a much worse designed fight.

Take away Waterfowl Dance and then let me know how much of her "difficulty" remains.

EVERYTHING with her is centered around that ability.

she is not as hard as you make it seem, she is also week to bleed, you can also abuse bleed builds with arcane if you wish, you can also ignore it completely and summon black knife titche, titche also makes the fight extremely dumb against malenia

thats trueeee i beat her using int build with darkmoon blade + darkmoon from ranni, i was able to break her poise extremely fast with it
