Goat talisman exists
Theres a fat as hell high poise set in the dlc
Are you trolling?
yea unfortunately this dlc seems targeted to make you trade with mobs lol. 'hit R1, they swing'. the best set of armor in the dlc you get an hour in after beating blackgaol knight
'just don't get hit' mentality is faulty, man. people are going to take damage, the entire game has been poised by developers to hit you from every angle.
>fashion
You can’t have both. It’s the rule of every single rpg ever.
It's called counter damage and there are whole builds around this mechanic, using the Spear talisman. How familiar are you with the game?

Average fashion enjoyer entering the DLC:

Which is why all kinds of poise-boosting magic and gear exists.
I was having trouble utilizing dodge strats against Rellana for example. Progress was being made, but it was frustrating.
Four hours of progression.
And I then I decided to swap over to Raptor Talons with Endure.
Endure boosts poise and raises absorptions by 45%. This is on top of whatever other buffs you might have running.
So instead of dodging, I stood my ground and wailed on her and bled her to death. She didn't even have time to do the moon bomb. Fight was over in 25 seconds.
This is all to say that the OP is suffering from a fairly common problem:
Lack of imagination.
The tools are there. Just gotta use them.
armor of solitude begs to differ
Dark souls 1 was the only game that did armor right, where you ACTUALLY FELT TANKY wearing full black steel, havel or stone armor.
In all the subsequent games, having the best armor in the game just means that you're going to get 4 shot instead of 2 shot, or 3 shot instead of 2 shot or even 1shot :/
