SOTE runes increase on NG+ onwards
I don't know if I'm the only one, but I'm getting the exact same amount of runes on NG+ and NG+2 than in regular NG which is where I played the dlc for the first time. Is it just me?

OMG, why random people don't read won't look why runes is low..... DLC use a newer system of upgrade, your stat in base game don't count for dlc, you have to explore and get special item for upgrade you can have runes but for dlc it wont work, DLC use level scaling so you can't tell you gonna lv up 250 level for 2shot a boss it's not the same as base game :)

for dlc you have to build correctly overpower build for dlc work but not at full power as base game (

(sorry english is baguette croissant)

It's a legitimate question though. Every enemies give ever so slightly more runes with each NG+. Seems like the DLC is exempt of that multiplier despite the damage/hp buff still applying

The guy is asking why the runes don't increase from NG to NG+.

Oh really? That's actually quite surprising. I wonder if that's a bug that will get fixed in a future patch

I just think if the NG+ damage and health is applied why not the runes? I didn't read anywhere that this was intentional so..

NG+ stat scaling does affect the DLC. And the player's stats absolutely matter in the DLC, there are just Scadutree Blessings as well. Have you actually played SotE or are you just parroting something you heard without actually experience yourself?

Another guy Said this as well, but the point of this thread is that the rune drops from Enemies seem to Stay the same on ng+.

I have the same issue, killing a Boss in sote on ng+2 gives me the axact same amount of Runes as reward as killing the same Boss on a New game.

So the question is, does sote not scale up the rune drops as well?
Which would be the same as the chalice dungeons in Blood Borne, but Different to all other dlc's.

It's not about any other scaling than rune drops from Enemies.

From what I remember chalice dungeons weren’t affected by ng+ at all. No extra rune drops but also no increased difficulty.

I don’t think there was a situation where ng+ was increasing difficulty but not the rune drops.

Sounds like something unintentional.
It’s also disappointing that the best farming spot remains in the base game.
