Suddenly Fat Rolling after altering garment
Hello, I've just started playing this game a few days ago, and as a souls veteran, i've been having a good time. An issue I've just found myself running into today, however, has been that after attempting to alter my garments, to see if I can get an edge up in a boss fight, I've found that now, my default equipment-the stuff I've been using the entire game thus far-is suddenly too heavy, causing me to fat roll. This is irking me, as I was able to equip all of these no problem the first couple of days. I've tried re-altering the garment, but I can't seem to get it back to where it was. I'm mostly just using the default Vagabond gear with a halberd+3, a war pick+2 and a brass shield. I'm more than willing to admit I didn't read something, or did something wrong... I just wish I knew what that was.

Altering a piece of armour will not only increase/decrease damage mitigation but also its weight.

Are you sure there's not something you're not noticing? Like a talisman you changed?

Enemies carrying sparkling pots will always drop one on the first death.

You can always farm some runes and increase your endurance to get your equip load up, there are solid farms early, mid, and late game.

Talismans do have very small weight differences, so if you were REALLY close to being overweight its possible you changed up your talismans and went over.

When this has happen to me it because i changes my talismans. Like swapped resistant one for boss. But it tip me over heavy. Each Talisman has they own weight. Well biggest swap happens if you swapped talisman what effect your equipment load directly.

Try unequipping weapons if your previous atire worked before but doesn't now. All the shields, weapons, bows, off hands that go into those 6 slots adds to weight.

Just have 1 weapon equipped in the main hand until you understand the game a bit more.
