initially, it took me 8 minutes to reach phase 2, but after getting the hang of it, I was able to reach phase 2 in a minute and a half, and finish the entire fight in less than 5 minutes, despite not being particularly good at Souls game.

It takes practice. And if it's too hard, you can try summoning a player for help.
