This one is hard to argue. It makes quick work of anyone not highly resistant to magic... even then...
Oh but now there's a sunflower for true flower power. I love it and I'm not going to stop using it
The damage is good enough for bosses immune to bleed even.
Only for Malenia i switched to double Bandit Curved Swords, cause i felt i needed something faster.
In my case, I'm running a Darkmoon Greatsword build focused on the weapon skill, so I use godfrey icon, alexander shard, magic scorpion charm and dragoncrest greatshield talisman. So for me, the ultimate weapons are Darkmoon Greatsword and Glintstone Kris (this weapon tends to be overlooked, but the skill damage is insane, and it consumes very little FP).
Plus the double stab with a charged spear, which brings cold and possibly frostbite in no time at all. And cold, the gray mist on the enemy brings another 20% more damage from every source. It doesn't get any better than that, in my opinion.
No weight, reasonable range, poke behind a shield if desired, quick light attack, the spear itself is available very early even as starting equipment, the ice spear skill is also available quite early from Liurnia. Frost also works well without high intelligence due to the spear's double attack.
And can easily last until the final boss and even beyond. Frost also works in the DLC - surprise. No good for min-max.
