favorite and least favorite bosses in the dlc.
My favorite boss was bayle, he was fun to learn and felt good to fight.

As for my least favorite... i cannot decide between messmer or gaius...... messmer was dodge, dodge, dodge, dodge dodge, poke, dodge, dodge, etc..... While gaius just did not feel satisfying to fight.

I cannot decide on putrescent, as i do not yet understand the fight.... he hits hard but does not have very high health, and i still need to figure out a good way to dodge his arena spanning attack.

Bayle was my favorite too. I liked all about that quest, the climb to the top of the mountain with minor dragons along the way.

I didn't like Rhadan. that fight was all about the correct buffs and in my case a proper bleed weapon. the outro movie was "neat" but nothing compared to the ones in the main game.

my favorite is Midra, cool location, cool boss design and felt fun to fight

my least favorite is the final boss, felt more like a weird mod than a well designed fight and it wasn't fun

Bayle was cool because he was an actual interesting dragon but all the other dragons were generic dragon fights, and there were a LOT of them.

Romina, Metyr, the Bear bosses, Tree Sentinels, and the humanoid bosses (Ymir, Blackgoal Knight, Ancient Dragon Man, Rakshasa) were all pretty forgettable. Also can't believe they threw in yet another generic Death Rite Bird & Demi-human Queen boss.

Bosses that were "almost good" but still felt average, and could have been great with a few tweaks: Lamenter, Jori, Gaius, & Demi-human swordmaster.

The highlights for me are the dancing lion, scadutree avatar, Midra, & Messmer.

He is a very honest boss.

The usual combo he does needs you to be in front for him to his ender where he slam his weapon into the ground.

The in->out fire you just need to jump over when they come in your lane.

Out->in fire is just another jump.

Horse combo is straightforward. Roll the jump dive, then there's a spin and a horse after and then it repeats a second time.

Honestly, I felt like Promised Consort Radahn was the best fight in the game. The only thing I don't like is Miquella's ability to turn you into a simp.

Enjoyed:
Mesmer, Bayle, Radhan phase 1, Rellana

Hated:
1. Golden Hippo - fps drops + this was a fight against the camera more than the boss
2. Radhan 2nd phase - huge fps drops, eyes hurt from getting flashbanged non stop

The rest aren't really memorable for me. They were ok.

To me, the npc "bosses" were just walking treasure chests for some extra swag.

Favorite: Bayle / Messmer

Least Favorite: Promised Consort Radahn / Dancing Lion (these were also the only bosses I genuinely hated, most were great)

As a strength user, for me that dragon you fight before bayle that does red electric damage and is sitting in water. Was the least fun to fight with.
I had to cheese him from afar with scarlet rot arrows.

What about finger, or Erdtree Avatar?

I liked them both, that crazy charge attack from the tree in phase 2 and 3 was really funny.

All of them were fine, the only things that were kinda iffy were Bayle's flying move and Radahn's big explosion moves that tanked my framerate (my fault for only having 7900XT based Miyazaki can do no wrong) and the wonky hitbox on Gaius' charge. Wasn't a fan of Radahn's phase 2 combo AOE explosions always catching my rolls but that was probably a skill issue.

As a fellow strength user, i had muscle for brains and did not think of that, so i beat him the old fashioned way..... Faith and strength, i have faith my hammer will really hurt when it lands. lol.
