So the final boss of the DLC is fu**ing Prime Radahn?!?! Bro what the fu**. I was done at the Dragon guy and Messmer, BUT PRIME RADAHN??? BROOO WHAT? And we got more Incest sh*t with Miquella Marrying Radahn? Or am I getting that wrong?????

Here is the story for those who did not pay attention or didnt care while playing.

Part 1:
Miquella, Malenia and Radahn

Miquella is the son of Radagon and Marika
Malenia is his true sister being daughter of Radagon and Marika

Both are basically born of incest since Radagon and Marika is the same Entity that split itself into 2 persons
this lead to both being cursed.
Malenia had the scarlett rott and Miquella will forever be in the body of a child.

But both also had a special gift.
Malenia is the most talented Swordfighter to ever live
Miquella has the gift of charming men so that they fall hopelessly in love with him and lose control over them selfs becomming servants. He is basically able to steel the hearts of the most badass warriors

Radahn is the Son of Radagon and Rennala.

Now turns out Miquella plans to get a cure for him and his sister and then wants to become a God and the Person he wants to make his "wife/Men" is Radahn since he admires him for his strength.

Part 2:
Most logical explanation for the things to happen is : Radahn had no interest in becomming Miquellas Wife/Servant/Lover... and it seems Radahn was the only one strong enough in willpower to resist little femboy magic gift.
Which lead Miquella ordering Malenia to kill Radahn so that Miquella can take control of his soul later.

This can be seen in Malenias last words after their epic battle when she shoved the sword into herself to infect him with Scarlett Rot and said:
"Miquella awaits thee, o promised consort"

basically saying: "you are going to die and Miquella will take you."

Part 3:
Now while Malenia was fighting Radahn Miquella was hiding in Miquella's Haligtree
a Place he had created to heal his childhood curse.
His half Brother Mogh who was the Son of Godfrey and Marika stole Miquella having plans to use the power of the half God to create his own Dynasty.
A Plan he soon should regrett.
Sleeping Miquella who appeared in deep slumber and never showed any form of physical reaction bewitched Mogh to fall in love with him.

He drove Mogh crazy and Mogh soon became obsessed with being in love with the sleeping miquilla trying many many blood rituals while "sharing the bed" with him to wake him up many many times. But he never got any reaction out of Miquellas body
What he didnt know was that Miquella used this energy to excape to the shadow realm to find Radahns spirit and also planned on Moghs death so he could use him as a vessel for Radahns spirit.

And this is where the DLC kinda ends....

Miquella managed to find Radahns Spirit and possess him.
He then builds him a body with the blood and parts of Moghs body
We dont know why he managed to overcome Radahn in Shadow Realm when he could not in Real World before.

So in Short.

Basically the young boy Miquella tried to make his wishes reality.
1.) Heal him and Malenia from their birth curse
2.) Become a God
3.) Be in love with Radahn

And he decided that he doesnt care about what his actions imply for other beings.

Just had a thought, concerning the cutscene happening after you defeat the last boss.
Who is miquella talking to? Is this Godwyn? Does miquella true consort is Godwyn and he found his soul (which he's talking to at the end) and the body he needs is... ours?

I know the lore behind it all, but it still feels like a major fan fic.

Ending should not had gone that route- and we should had gotten a different final boss. Fighting someone again from the main game in a DLC, but executed in the worst possible way and very unfun manner just adds insult to injury.

Even the cutscene after is so bleak and mid which doesn't tribute anything- worst finale of any Souls Game's DLCs in my opinion.

Why do they cut the ingame cutscenes from the gameplay trailer? Were we going to get a different ending?

Even base game had a lot of really cool cut content, that would had added so much more depth and amazing lore. But it was cut out either cause the big man himself felt it did not fit well with his vision, or it was too hard to code in.

Seeing the finale of this one, I am assuming they decided to make it this way so we have a lot of questions leaving us to do lore videos and spectate which to me, feels very cheap. I would had liked ANYTHING else than what we've gotten. I am left far more disappointed than curious with excitement to assume anything.

That's really bad writing. I'm sorry to say it, but it feels like a fan fic. Even the way you said it speaks like a fan fic to me. Aien't no way the finale, and last content we get in Elden Ring, is due to a 1,000 year old boy wanting to simp for his older brother and used his other half brother's body to get him as a consort for the final fight. Just no way haha.
