He needed to work in a cheek kiss and a reference to the LA-LI-LU-LE-LO, but at least regarding Kojima, brother spitting facts.
Exhibit A: Death Stranding.
Elden Ring would be way better if it had more cut scenes
Lol @ people using Death Stranding as an example...srsly if you have no other recollection of Kojimas work the you shouldn't be commenting
DS is a fine game, though experimental and bloated in some respects, but I like odd takes on a genre.
If it is not for you, as many games are not for me, then move on.
like dozens of other sandbox games about parkour or exploration, its about seeing pretty scenes. (im using pretty very liberally here)
which yeah, is def not for everyone.
Completely disagree. Kojima was brilliant for a long time. Even Metal Gear 1 and 2 on MSX was way ahead of its time- introducing the contextual codec call, going prone in a top down game, varying states of alert and AI behavior...
And that's the OG Metal Gear. Metal Gear Solid 1-3 pushed the limits of gameplay, graphics, and were truly incredibly detailed.
