its not so much a spoiler when im saving you from being dissapointed in-game. DLC is an absolute powerhouse but damn fromsoft went too big again and fell back to doing copy pastes in order to fill the space they created

That's why I run mage build lmao. Wanna melee? Sure, still can. Birds? Magic. Also I heard there is ulcerated tree spirit somewhere.

I just started DLC but if these undead turkeys are similar to those in base game
blunt trauma and Sacred Blade Ash of War, while keeping close, under them should still work.

And buffing magic resistance should help if they still do magic damage.

The birds and certain other foes are weak to holy damage.

Imagine not simply using anything with holy damage to shred them and then go on about your day like nothing happened.
