What's your favourite weapon and why?

It's been a while since I played through it and I'm about to start a new game to get up to snuff before starting the DLC. First playthrough I went with the Moonveil Katana but I wanna try something else. I could use a bit of inspiration, though on what weapon type to build around.
So, what's your favourite weapon (type) and why?

"Casual" here. Uchigatana when I started playing Samurai, then Bloodhound's Fang when there was no Smithing Stone to upgrade my Uchigatana but plenty of Somber Smithing Stone, then back to Uchigatana ever since.

I just like using them.

Eleanora's Poleblade

i've never fooled with twinblades before and the stagger makes me feel like a ninja

Bloody Helice. Looks cool, cool looking skill and just stylish evading boss attacks with it

Wing of Astel. Big fan of dual wielding these. Though I really enjoy all the MLGS-Esque weapons. The wing, though, is a curved sword which has a great move set, is fast, and has a high damage AoE that you can back up, set up, and watch the enemies walk into. Great weapon.

Nagakiba, Marika's Hammer, Bolt of Gransax. are my fav/main use weapons, but ive been leveling other weapons for the DLC, i may wanna swap things around if my usual doesnt suit the situation.

Mana Regen on kill. Does good damage with arcade scaling. Looks cool

Dragon Halberd because of frost lightning buff + i like quality builds

Just like with any fromsoft game so far, the claymore, there is just something about the claymore that makes it look like the perfect fantasy sword you know?

Greatsword, specially with ashes of war that send your enemies flying. (Giant Hunt my beloved). Malenia's katana has been really fun to use, don't care if it's not meta, that thing has reach and looks sick

Dragonscale blade because it's a skill weapon and not OP. Looks cool with the ice lightning effect.
