and I need ideas for how to avoid spoilers, specifically on youtube. I keep trying to get yt to stop recommending me Elden ring videos by hitting not interested on any that I see. So far it hasn't made any noticeable difference. Any Ideas?

Sign out of youtube to reset its recommendations, I do not have a youtube account so i will delete and re download the app.

Use private browsing every single time you need to go on Youtube. After watching a video, close, wait 3 seconds, then re-open a new private browsing so that it forgets the last session's "profile" of viewer.

Assuming you're using a browser.

This is made easier by the fact Youtube recently decided to stop showing trending videos to offline users on the home page until you watch at least one video, after which it will show you a combination of things people in the surrounding* of your IP address watched, along with what it believes to be related to whatever is the last video you watched.

*: When I was in a short trip in Tunisia, Youtube kept suggesting me soccer videos even though I don't watch those. And back in my home country, it reverted to suggesting influencers with gigantic face thumbnail which I don't watch either.

Edit: Alternatively, you could use a VPN to limit that IP address thing I mentioned by pretending you're in a country without Elden Ring players, I guess?
