DLC pre download?

Hey how can I check if i can download the dlc or if it's already downloaded. When i bought it yesterday it gave me an error once trying to download it and never gave it to me again. When checking installs it has a check so idk

It's not though. If the publisher doesn't want PC preload then it's a publisher thing. Steam doesn't care either way and doesn't interfere.

It's sony thing, xbox did the same thing when elden ring released, pre load exclusives, now sony did it with the DLC. I just wish consoles dissappear for better world. Such useless machines

most people in 2002 yes. now most people on PC-mobile-portable consoles. consoles devices under the TV is dead. that's why their companies release their games everywhere

Not every developer gives pre-load, likely to avoid people milling around in the files or something similar.

The steam release time is for the preload. It works the exact same way for almost every major release even when they say "no preload for DLC". This isn't a new concept. You won't be able to actually play the game until the scheduled release but you'll be able to download it in ~22 hours from now. The amount of people who have no idea what they are talking about in here spouting garbage is insane.
