DLC pre download?

Hey how can I check if i can download the dlc or if it's already downloaded. When i bought it yesterday it gave me an error once trying to download it and never gave it to me again. When checking installs it has a check so idk

pre load isnt out. not sure if we will get one. i havent checked but if we do it will probably be tomorrow. but we also get it before console so there is a good chance we may not get one. dlc goes live tomorrow at 6pm

edit. the dlc come out on the 20th not tomorrow

FromSoftware doesn't do preloads with their games on PC. Happens every release.

you can't preload a dlc on steam as you can't encrypt it, it has nothing to do with publisher or developer

It was supposed to come out 48 hours before DLC drops on PC. Thus the posting of this thread

You absolutely don't know what you're talking about. Preloads happen all the time on Steam. It was announced to be 48 hours ahead of the game dropping. That's why this thread was created I'm presuming.

rumors mean nothing. thats why there is no preload. thus the reply i gave

this is the only thing i can find about preload.

It's been confirmed that Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree preloads will go live 48 hours before the June 21 launch on PS5 and PS4. Unfortunately, though, Xbox and PC players won't be able to preload, which is bad news for fans that play the game on these platforms.

Check the box in the lower (edit: left). It says preload is only available for PlayStation. Then again, for me it says that SotE will unlock in one day and 8 hours (CET here), meaning a preload might be available later tomorrow.

There has never been a fromsoftware pre download in the history of pc gaming. Good luck disproving me. (Don't pull out the preload image from 2022, please).

PS5 people have already pre-loaded it. So it's a steam thing

there is no preload for PC and XBOX. Only for PS

It's not though. If the publisher doesn't want PC preload then it's a publisher thing. Steam doesn't care either way and doesn't interfere.
