i play crossbow only
I play both hard games and average/easy ones. I just follow the game's intended design and if it's intended to have really strong abilities and builds then I have no issue with using them

Nope, I love it and fire at will. That’s what I got it for. If I wanted to hack and slash I would pull out a broadsword from my inventory and use that.
It is somewhat balanced by relatively high FP cost of weapon skill
so you don't have to feel completely bad about it :-)
And frankly, given how flat its learning curve has proven to be, I'm doing the gene pool a favor.
