GIVE ME A SELECTION WHEEL

The amount of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times I've used the wrong potion or had an incant seal out of instead of my weapon because I'm trying to tap this stupid dpad the right amount of times during the heat of battle, would it kill them to put in a wheel so I can choose the right ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ item every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time? or better yet, how about putting the selection icons near the centre of the screen so I can look at what the hell I'm selecting and focus on the boss at the same time?

Just bind your flasks to the hold Y menu like all the cool PvP streamers. So e.g. Y+Left = health flask, Y+Right = FP flask, Y+Down=Physick.

And don't equip more than 2 weapons/tools per hand. Not only it's a waste of weight, but you'll be killed as you're scrolling through them.

There literally is a selection wheel in your d-pad if you hold down Y.

Its not terrible unless you happen to get a bunch of spells, then it's atrocious. Why give players more than 3 spell slots if its just going to become a pain to use them when you add more. A selection wheel for spells wouldve fixed that problem

What is the meaning of this post? It seems that you have a problem with your controller, way too sensitive. Worry not, i have a solution......buy a Xbox Elite series 2. There, thread and problem solved.

That's exactly the point, it's deliberately designed so that the more versatile your character is, the harder it is to play it.

Lol you're right, it's a me problem, the controller is fine, it's the "tap dpad down 1x for item one, tap dpad down 2x for item two that's giving me the ♥♥♥♥♥. But I have bound one of my potions to one of the pockets so it's slightly less annoying now.

A lot of us are bitter/burnt out towards negative threads, pattern is that they turn into finger pointing matches...

...or rage-baiters like to abuse the report button, and the mods here don't exactly have a great track record with the community.

It's cool that you have a suggestion, but maybe you should mod it in and show us how it's better.

Weren't you Mr. TheWayTheGameIsSupposedToBePlayed? If I'm not mistaken, the selection wheel should be considered cheap and not how it's supposed to be done. Something made you reconsider your approach recently?

Its a pretty simple concept, alot of other fps and 3rd person games do it. Just hold a button and a little wheel pops up and you select whatever you want

Which to me, is the same thing as me holding triangle and pressing a direction button.

I've gotten used to hot item swapping, so the wheel seems useless.

which you get 6 of. I use all that for important items. So when you have alot of spells equipped that is simple not enough, not to mention giving up all your hot keys for spells so now you get to wrestle trying to find the important item you had as a hot key

Sure was, but my name's ddavegames actually ;)
If it means I can select items more accurately I wouldn't consider it cheap, and I'm pretty sure I said further down in the last post that it's different for everyone
