New DLC better ruin seamless co-op for good

You shouldnt be able to get carried through the game without being invaded. I hope Miyazaki has added some code blocking to their mod, and also send a cease and desist letter. PVP has been part of the souls franchise forever and they arent respecting fromsoft's vision by avoiding it when in co-op mode.

edit: I just realized they might have meant that you can seamessly traverse between the Lands Between and wherever the dlc is set, but maybe the dlc and an accompanying balance patch will make some changes to the vanilla game as well.

Its not about that players are circumventing the challenge of invasions, thats a silly argument. Are you saying someone circumventing the challenge of the base game by using comet azur is cheating? No, the real issue is that seamless takes players away from the main multiplayer community, resulting in less activity for both PvP and Co-Op.

this is a massive loss as they use multiplayer for the aspect to make the game harder if u want to play offline turn elden ring to offline mode in your settings but multiplayer will be around for a long time it seems none of you read what fromsoft says they intended for their game. the games they create are meant to be challenging and hard and never knowing what to expect. I mean, yeah it is somehwat "part" of the game - but it's also a cringe move in any way, the urge to troll people and make them sad / angry for their own fun (while they also just try to have fun)

But yeah, I'm not "a real player" I guess ^^

too bad. the seamless save file is separate from the vanilla save file. there is no way to detect if a player plays seamless. you can go from vanilla to seamless and back to vanilla all day long.

your not seamless mod makes the game completely irrelevant from the reason they made it you basically said hey i don't like this or that and changed their game and if they allowed mods they would've implemented it i think the mod ruins the game and ruins the player base as its decided thanks to that mod but you wouldn't understand as it seems your still young and don't know how the game industries works so go put mod files in your game that are not supposed to be there as the mod developer keeps updating it so u don't get banned lmfao
