Are there still no PlayStation icons when you want to play with the PS5 controller?

I don't understand why this is such a problem with some games.
If a game is only available on Xbox, you understand why it only has Xbox icons. But there is Elden Ring on the PS5. Why haven't they managed to incorporate PlayStation icons into the game for two years?

Is this laziness or ignorance?

The Playstation symbols are simply more aesthetic than those cheap letters that are displayed in colorful colors in many games.

Why isn't both offered (there is a PS5 version and the symbols have already been in Elden Ring for a long time) so that the players can decide for themselves which they like better?

What is shown in the video only solves the problem if it is also possible to display the symbols in the game, which has never been the case with souls games. For some reason, only Xbox symbols are allowed to be displayed there, regardless of which controller you use.

Agreed. I love shapes. Every time I see that little X button, I get a sense of euphoria. It’s like ecstasy. The square button reminds me of mother’s cooking. She was never rich, but she provided the best she could.

And don’t even get me started on the triangle button. 😫👌🔥

Damn right! Had that in graduate school; I was a beast at "Knock on Wood." I looked up the price for the set on Amazon (we have a functional Cube, but I sold the game and bongos years ago), and gaht dayum.

Its maybe lazyness or they use the Xbox version and port it to PC and dont bother implementing Sony buttons, older Souls games didint even had PC icons.
