How refresh rate Works = 60FPS bad

So people in this community have said that a high refresh rate is good because the 60fps lock means you will see those frames faster with a high refresh rate.

This is asinine. The game was designed for TV's as TV's do in fact have a native 60hz refresh rate.

Here is how refresh rate works in terms this community can understand.

You are drawing pictures for mommy over 10 minutes and will draw her 10 pictures (FPS). Mommy is so excited that she checks every 30 seconds (Refresh rate).

So as you can see mommy is looking at the same picture twice every minute.

Edit: And worth noting that the standard display for most PCs is a standard wide-screen format, as opposed to UW. If you're going to use a standardization argument against TVs, have a care you don't kick your own argument for support of 3% of Steam hardware directly in the soft bits in so doing.
