is there any weapon in the game which is objetively the best in the game? im a dex/arc and ive tested out so many weapons and still dont know wt has the best dps and damage output

No such thing as a best weapon in Elden Ring (except for Shunter against Rykard). Weapons and their respective damage types and/or skills mostly are tools used whenever certain situations arise.

As Lord Bob said, there is no definitively best weapon for anything but Rykard.

As you are playing a Dex/Arc build though, a few decent recommendations are Rivers of Blood and Bloody Helice. Nothing game-shattering, but they are good options for a Dex/Arc build, and fun to use.

I would say the 'Black knife' or the 'black blade' purely due to their ahses of war which deals HP% damage rather than a flat damage value, or if you're feeling daring you could use the 'mohgwyn sacred spear' due to it's amazing bleed potential.

While there are many great weapons, there are also a lot of meh weapons.

I have to say that short range weapons like the caestus aren't great when you're locked vs giant enemies. You have to manually control the camera and go for knees and other exposed parts.

I thought we fixed issues like that in DS3, but we decided to go back to DS2 with weapons and wonkey hitboxes.

Bolt of Gransax is a dex-faith weapon but it only has a dex requirement, if you need a long range option (it's got the longest range projectile in the game) or lightning damage it's really fun.

You first need to think and explain to people what you're talking about "best" isn't a quantifier that can be mapped unto items. Best at doing what? You said DPS, but DPS changes due to enemy types and situations, places where you can spam, and places where you can't spam change up this dynamic.

Currently, the most agreed upon weapon as being the overall best in most situations is Blasphemous Blade.

Most powerful weapons seem to be pretty balanced one way or another. It's just that some of them can be obtain early game while others are more late game. Death's Poker is a great example, if you played the game before and know where to get it, you don't have to be a pro and can still get it in about an hour or so. Get some holy pots ready and kill that bird.
Then there is Mohg's Spear, great weapon, but it is pretty much one of the end game weapons. I've had great fun with both of them, but the Death's Poker is so much more easily and earlier to obtain.

Weapon art swap with shunter. Any1 can use it
W/o glich idk your stats but you can be meta sl and just use Godskin Peeler with bleed spin slash if you have idk something like 50dex and 45 arcane (Pump if you are overleveled more dex until 80... leave arcane at 45 since it does not scale very well after that). Then just equip white mask and dmg+ talis

Star Fists gets pretty close to being objectively the best. Slap Craigblade on and Axe Talisman and you stun everything in 2 hits max.
