As you are playing a Dex/Arc build though, a few decent recommendations are Rivers of Blood and Bloody Helice. Nothing game-shattering, but they are good options for a Dex/Arc build, and fun to use.
I have to say that short range weapons like the caestus aren't great when you're locked vs giant enemies. You have to manually control the camera and go for knees and other exposed parts.
I thought we fixed issues like that in DS3, but we decided to go back to DS2 with weapons and wonkey hitboxes.
(like everyone said, there is no objective best weapon. Gidoudda heeere)
Currently, the most agreed upon weapon as being the overall best in most situations is Blasphemous Blade.
Then there is Mohg's Spear, great weapon, but it is pretty much one of the end game weapons. I've had great fun with both of them, but the Death's Poker is so much more easily and earlier to obtain.
W/o glich idk your stats but you can be meta sl and just use Godskin Peeler with bleed spin slash if you have idk something like 50dex and 45 arcane (Pump if you are overleveled more dex until 80... leave arcane at 45 since it does not scale very well after that). Then just equip white mask and dmg+ talis
