- The SECOND from the top is the host in this case. Block them.
Didn’t think of that but I suppose that’s possible lmao
It's really telling that "bad connection" isn't the first thing any of y'all thought.
Sometimes its bad enough that it can cause enemies to teleport and for people to take damage at distances that are impossible -- same with killing things they aren't even close enough to kill.
If I see someone's character vibrating only to suddenly teleport 50 miyazakis away from their original position then I'll cut them off and send them home for both our sake since (one or both of our) connection(s) are too unstable.
It takes way, way too long to send someone back. You wouldn't be able to do it mid-fight and no, you don't get to keep their share of the runes. The fact that you started what you were typing making it sound like the truth and then ended with "idk if it actually works that way" is in of itself ridiculous because you lose 20% of the runes regardless if the person disconnects, gets kicked or dies.
In fact you can do the opposite and just die immediately if you wanna bug people but most people either won't notice or care that they got 20% less.
It is very easy to sever mid fight if you have 2 summoners drawing agro from the boss, the host just sits in the edge of the arena not even helping with the fight which makes it look even more intentional. Its a 2 second motion to sever someone. Also, connection issues are something we can all see regardless of who the issue stems from. Both me & the other summoned furl had perfectly fine connections with no teleportation or anything out of the ordinary. Also, at least in my case I have stable gigabit internet so I pretty much never lag on anything unless the game it's hosted by someone with bad internet which usually shows up differently when the host is the one with the problem. I've played since launch but only recently am I seeing this strange uptick in pointless severs. Hard to read it as anything other than trolling, not that it matters as I have a whole load of runes & rune arcs I don't need anyway (I've completed everything & purposefully stopped levelling), It's just unsavoury at best & was wondering if there is genuinely some new reason people keep doing it considering they asked for help in the first place.
