Best spots for rare reagents endless farming.
Im not here to dicuss anything about how awesome the Elden Ring crafting system is, just to share some knowledge to help you locate the best places in the Lands Between so you can get all your sleep and rot pots needs covered.

One of the things i liked from the DLC trailer was a tarnished throwing a massive pot.....picture a humongous ritual pot full of rot and love!, lets start.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3173205788

The Aeonian butterfly are mainly needed to craft all arrows/bolts, pots and rot grease consumables.

You will be able to loot a respectable amount of them druing your Caelid and Halightree travels, also of course killing the pests (both types) in the rot pools or before entering Elphael Root area. We all know how dastarly and cheap the pests are......so here you have another source, every single basilisk in the lake of rot.

Basilisks are mostly harmless if you avoid their deathblight clouds, also they are extremly easy to kill. As you can see in the gif above, the first plataform you spawn in the lake (near the grace) has two basilisks you can kill without problems. Then all you have to do is to teleport the the grace and repeat.....better than the pests for sure.

Have little to say about the mushrooms, other than they are not that rare but needed to craft rot pots and other consumables. They respawn after a grace reset and you can mainly loot them in Caelid and from the zombies in the Shaded Castle.

This spot seconds away from the Caelid Cathedral of Dragon comunnion will allow you to get all you want without having to kill anything.

Now here we have the probably most useful lily of the game and good news, they are not that uncommon. Used to craft anything sleep related the consumables obtained from them are life savers in a lot of situations. Per example, a fellow tarnished just posted today he was having troubles dealing with a runebear. I regret now not suggesting him to throw a sleep pot to the bear face......and not only bears, trolls, Godskin cultists (both types) and even bosses.

As you can see the jellyfish outside Apostate Derelict have decent chances to drop them. Also the whole church is covered by them but you can obtain decent stacks of lilies in just a few minutes.

And thats all i hope it helps someone.

I have decent spots located for Miquella lilies but since they are mainly used for bewitching branches (wich need sacramental buds) i omitted them.

Do you know any other good spot? For golden centipedes, sacramental buds and nascent butterflies?.

Nascent butterflies can drop from shamans in Siofra River I believe. I don't think that I've encountered any random drops for the other two, although they may exist.

Thanks my dude!. Tested it!

Only those two drop butterflies. You have to sneak past sniping archers, a pack of wolves led by a foxdoggo of Radagon and kill a army of rats so pain.....just pain.

Good thing is they also drop budding horns so we can openly say they are the freaks to kill if you want

What can i say? I identify myself as a magpipe....(ok...a dragon sounds better) with crematomania! I enjoy hoarding SHINIES.

Now my final contribution. Do you like?

Here you can farm the golden centipedes. ONLY the guardians near this church (you also loot the golden order seal here).

I probably wont use it ever but take some points for probably the most actually useful thread I've seen in ages on this game's forum lol. Definitely a useful resource. Consider turning it into a guide if you haven't already. The animated examples are nice.

Thanks, will do, right now.

I was honestly thinking out loud but a lot of people (including me) considered certain reagents i included pretty much a myth.

Now we can all have our 10 vials of holy water ready to melt ♥♥♥♥♥♥ skeletons!

Thats the spot i use!. Also the crazy trolls in Yelough Anix drop Eye of Yelough.

Trolls in that stage of the game are pretty though so this is far from fast unless you can kill the trolls fast, thats why i had my doubts including them in a fast guide but thanks for the reminder.

You can farm Sacramental Buds from the Dogs at the Writheblood Ruins. Bring a weapon with Seppuku on it though, so you can make use of the Stake of Marika for a quick respawn.
Slow, but it will come in handy for the times when Scarlet Rot is a problem.

Not exactly rare per say, but Giant Dragonfly Heads can be farmed behind the Heart of Aeonia bonfire, there are a lot of dragonflies there to fuel your poison bolus needs.

Gravel Stone can be farmed off of the sleeping Farum Azula Dragon below the courtyard full of skeletons by the Dragon Temple Lift bonfire. Hard to kill dependent on the build, but it respawns, and drops a guaranteed 3 Gravel Stone per run.

Old Fangs can be farmed from the Misbegotten right in the courtyard of Castle Morne.

Four-Toed Fowl Feet can be farmed from the penguins by the Impassable Greatbridge in Caelid, make sure not to spook the birds before slaying them though, otherwise they will fall off the cliff.

The two types of dogs dropping sacramental buds are near the Varre NPC invasion red mark.

I actually didnt considered that place a good farming spot since the nearest grace is far away but good point with the stake of Marika right there. All you have to do now is kill all the dogs and then kill yourself for a fast resapawn! ( the cliff works just fine).

Arteria Leaf can be farmed off of the type of hairy troll encountered in Mountaintops of the Giants (drop rate 30% according to the wiki).

Spots to start from are the Giant's Grave post site of grace and the Church of Repose site of grace.

Going to show gifs of the different type of trolls dropping rare consumables.

Here is the snow troll near the giant gravepost grace.

The arteria leaf is used mainly to craft buffs that enhace physical attacks in form of Exalted Flesh or perfumes. This is the most useful arteria leaf consumable.

https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Uplifting+Aromatic

It keeps buffing your damage a 10% while reducing next incoming attack (no matter the type) a 90%.....enough to survive the Radhan phase 2 meteor without even trying.

Now eye of Yelough

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3173609163

The crazy trolls in Yelough Anix drop it.

This basically is a reagent for madness boluses and cured meat to boost your focus (sleep and madness resistance). Who knows if they have plans for a soporific maddening swamp?.....Be prepared just in case!

Even high RL trolls are extremly easy to kill, as long you damage them right in the face. That will stunlock them for good all together with them having like no resistances to anything so everyone should be able to take them down fast.

That's where I grind them. Beast Claw or Claw of Gurranq can take out all three of them at oncw, while dealing almost no knockback so they never go flying off the cliff like, say, Wave of Gold.
