If he has his shield out, he'll try to parry your attacks. Jump attacks and most charge attacks cannot be parried. Otherwise just hit him until he dies. Basic NPC-type enemy.

aggro him then use the elevator. if he follows onto the platform, carefully roll into the corner at the bottom, avoiding the pit in the middle. he should fall into the pit. if he doesnt follow you in the elevator in time, he should still fall in the pit. ggez

Guy from swamps who can be summoned as a Mad Spirit that attacks host, summoned allies, invaders, etc. Has obscenely high stats (especially in NG+s, could honestly probably kill most of the bosses) and can parry when he swaps to 1h stance which is a 1-shot as his dmg can deal 2-3k.

He isn't bad if you notice him swap to 1h / 2h and back as the tell he can parry. His moves are very very simple, too. His only tricks are his ridiculous stats (mostly in any NG+ they escalate immensely) and the parry as prior mentioned. As an example, I was in NG+6 at SL26 (+2 weapons) with Mad Spirit Hodrick so I could troll people with him in the swamps. He could deal over 2k dmg or when buffed and using 2-hand stance 3k+ instantly cutting down 3 or so players in a single swing. Still, he is kind of dumb and his moves really are overly simple so it only gets you like once before you realize not to act reckless around him eating a random but fatal hit.
