do they stack same as grave talismans?
i mean do 4% canvas stack with 8% = 12% ?

Yes, you can stack both of them. They do stack multiplicatively though, not additively, just as any other boosting gear does.

Instead of the lesser canvas one go for the ritual sword Talisman and learn how to dodge properly.

Every damage buff stacks multiplicatively. The 4% incantation talisman is pretty bad though. Ritual Sword would be better. Especially for a Faith character that can heal themselves all the time.

Might be worth considering dragoncrest great shield over the lesser canvas, or a ritual sword if you want to go all in on dps
