Im at the frozen lake.... i just want this to end now.
So I came back in Elden Ring after a year long hiatus from the game cause i just wasn't having fun the builds i was trying werent working and the time sink in these experiments is huge, but i came back when someone else posted a build that seemed interesting and similar to something i experimented on prior but couldn't master, a bleed build, but unlike mine it didn't use spells at all, so yeah i tried it and yeah it seems pretty good but i just want to get to malenia now beat her get her rememberance/armor and finish the game. Any advice on how to speedrun to this goal?

just use cheats
don't torture yourself if you are bored with the game
yes it's objectively worse than dark souls trilogy
Do you need help with the dragon there

Get to Castle Sol as quick as possible. Run through it, activate the shortcut leading to Niall in case things go south and beat him. Proceed to loot one half of the secret medallion
Make sure to have spoken to the old Albinauric guy in Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia to get the other half.

Go to the Grand Lift of Rold, switch between the onscreen prompt until "hoist secret medallion" shows up.
Make your way to Ordina, try not to get shot on the roofs. From there, it's relatively straightforward. Should you require help defeating her, don't be afraid to ask for jolly cooperators :praisesun:

Nah, me and mimic tear killed him 1st try, I think running through all side content first full play through up to this point was my mistake, this game really is massive, and i should have focused on the just beating the bosses and maybe doing malenia first, then explored messed around later.

Strange topic. If it's not fun, don't play, If it is fun - play. Why waste your time on boredom? :sunekosuri:

Fear of regret (wasting money on something you dont like) and/or missing out (not being part of something that seems important due to socia media coverage).

Not at all what i meant, of course its fun to play, but something that is fun to play can still drag on to long, and exploring everything else before doing what i really wanted to do can sap my enjoyment, so I think I'll be following the above guide.
