Any lore reason why Radagon/Marika are made out of stone?

I don't remember if there was an explanation, are Numen all made out of stone? Or is there a different reason?

It's not stated anywhere directly, but it's likely an artistic storytelling moment meant to showcase the Greater Will animating Radagon as though they have no autonomy whatsoever. They likely turned to stone after shattering the Elden Ring.
