Killed Rykard before finishing the manor quests
Pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying that the game punishes you for exploring with no warning. Doing a Str/fth build, did i miss anything decent?

Not really

the Rykard quest is just 3 Asssasin Tasks that when you finish them
teleports you directly to the bossfight after speaking to the House.

However if you did explore the Volcano Manor thoroughly inbetween each of those Assasin Tasks you could do Rya Questline which is kinda good but with a anticlimactic ending imo

Yes, you missed four armor sets, which are decently fashionable in my opinion and a bunch of spells.

edit: typos

The spells are sorceries and require both int and faith.

i only know of Magma Shot that i got as quest reward for one of the assasins
it is 19 int and 10 faith.
i personally didnt find it too good and only used it to reset frost for my GLINTSTONE ICECRAG

which other spells did you get from the Questline ?
i cant remember any

Gelmir's Fury is the reward you get from helping Bernahl in Lyendell.

In addition to the four armor sets, you also miss out on a unique katana and two parts of a three part armor set.

Doesn't this also end Patches' questline early?

Nah, he still moves to Shaded Castle. You only miss on doing his assassination for him and thus wont be able to get Whip Candlestick weapon.

ah okay i missed that one. T_T
As i did read now in Fextralife
Its an extra quest happening in Volcano Manor that is not the same quest as Taniths Assasination tasks...

after Tanith 2nd Assasination is done you can start an alternate questline with Bernahl
before doing the 3rd Tanith Assasination.

damn this stuff is kinda stupidly "hidden"
like if you get a quest dont finish it .. since it might lock you out of sidequests that may start at kinda random events from the main quest
but there is also not a questlog to keep track

definitely needs improvement in the future

I think the best solution, based on what I've read from many suggestions and my own two cents, is a "fail-safe alternative ending" to each questline, if they have been started but sequence-broken and thus impossible to complete. Then, the missing items from various quests can be made available for purchase by the twin maiden husk at the RTH after completing an alternative objective. These could be creatively done or done quickly+cheaply, from what I've read.

Yeah me as well during my first playthrough. Which sucked, I really wanted the Raging Wolf set as it was what the Tarnished wore in the gameplay reveal.
And I agree, it's incredibly easy to just miss a branch of the quest.

I defeated him early too. I still had one more NPC to kill. After finishing the game, the NPC quests are the most frustrating. Without going online and looking for where to go, the fact that you may run into a NPC during its quest line is serendipitous at best.

The last assasination is the most rewarding imho, you get a weapon, a cool set, a very op for open-world-exploring and coop talisman, and most importantly A GESTURE. Also John Elden ring set too, from Bernahl's quest
