If I understand correctly, she fought 1 on 1 with Radan, and when the smell of frying began, she decided to release her rot on all living things, so as not to lose the battle! This is the most selfish act! It’s not for nothing that Marika cursed everyone!

Was it intentional, though? Or was it an accident of sorts due to sustained injuries?

Also, we can say that Radahn would've won if not for Malenia's pocket nuke. But at the same time, the game clearly states that they've reached a stalemate, meaning neither of them could claim a definitive victory.

Quite a few questions that need to be answered before we can make claims.

There can be no "good" characters in game-o-thrones type of worlds. And the lore is intentionally messy to convey the sence of history being written by people with different motives and beliefs (and to add fuel to the fire of speculation).

No, she had the fight with Radahn and both sort of tied but "she" was holding her powers back as she was always in struggle with this power, the release of her powers is exactly because Radahn pushed her to the limits and Radahn also was pushed to the limits, wwhen she could not hold her powers anymore her goddess powers were released as much as when Radahn could not hold anymore he had to release the meteors he was holding to fight against Malenia so "both were not using their true powers until there" but Malenia powers were more monstruous in terms of devastation.

TLDR; Radahn is the strongest demi-god.

This is a war between nations led by demi-gods. Malenia couldn't have gotten out of that fight alive unless she plagued up the place. I think that was intentional, and not the meddling of the god of rot.

Even that wasn't enough for her to win.

Radahn lost his mind from the battle and devoured flesh while still holding back a meteor in-space. He became a shell of who he once was.

Neither you, or Malenia fight Radahn at his best. After all, there's a consistent use of mana to hold a big space rock back from entering the planet's atmosphere. You do him a favor by death by combat (or whatever is left of him).

Malenia ran away to recover at the haligtree in the little blossom cocoon there. She's somewhat recovered from her fight with radahn.

Unsure if you fight Malenia at her best.

When we defeat Malenia we acquire the Miquella's needle, which had the very purpose of fighting off the rot.

Assuming the rot blossom cocoon in her arena is her regenerating again.

You don't fight Radahn at his best. You do kill him (or whatever is left of him).

If she was to "use that to win just because" she woud had released that from the start and would had used no soldiers at all as it wouldd not be needed as her powers alone could devastate the entirety of those lands.
Malenia was holding it back because she did not want to use it also to not be consumed by rot.
It is sort of like Narruto holding the Kurama back with his own powers and Kurama was basically messing and screwing with Naruto powers just waiting for a chance (when Narruto was absolutely exhausted with no powers) to come out.
