Sure you're installing them correctly? I have a few mods that weren't updated since 1.09 and even these still work.

some countries in asia (for examble Japan) have a different version of the eldenring.exe (version 2.0.0.1) maybe the mods do not work with this version.

check the version of eldenring.exe if it is 2.0.0.0 the mods should work
I found it out, you can have only 1 mod, there is no way to use 2 or more mods, because regulation.bin can be used only for 1 not more.

Correction: You can only have 1 mod that alters "regulation.bin", unless you know how to merge them. Various re-skins and stuff that do not require "regulation.bin" can be installed alonside each other.

Thats completely not true

1.)
you can merge regulation bins of different mods
you need a programm like YappedRuneBear for this
(I use the SE version since i get too many errors with non SE version)
https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/2968

2.) you can use mods that use Regulation.bin and mods that use dinput8.dll manipulation at
the same time when using ModEngine.

So you can run infinite mods with regulation bin merge as long as their data does not conflict and you can run only 1 mod that does dinput8.dll manipulation at the same time

that sounds really difficult to do, im no programmer.

Don't sell yourself short. It's just learning how to use Yapped Rune Bear, not learning how to make a mod with C++.

It's more time consuming than anything, and if you see value in it, there are tutorial videos out there to help.

yapped is a user interface for manipulating a configuration file.
You dont have to know programming but it for sure helpes with the terminology ;)
usually you load the mods regulation bin in yapped

then export the data you want into a different file

you load the regulation bin that you want to have active while playing
and load in the files you previously exported

takes a bit of time and knowledge but no rocket science

ER is not very mod friendly. There are a few, 5 to 10 that don’t alter regulation.bin if you don’t want to mess with it. I can list them here if you like.

I never bothered with merging. I only have one mod called unlocked spirit ashes. It has no special requirements. No loader and no changes to regulation.bin. It extends the summoning range. I found it pretty useful.

"unlocked spirit ashes"

is a regulation.bin as well.
