My friend cant summon me in the castleward tunnel

We both type the exact same multiplayer password, he activated the summoning pool, he used the furlcalling finger remedy multiple times, he enabled "crossplay region" and I also enabled the crossplay region and "send summon sign" but nothing is working. I just don't get why, could it be the reason that I already killed Margit and Godrick? so no one will be able to summon me after that? After he killed Margit alone I asked him to try and summon me again nearby the Stormveil main gate, where he also activated the summoning pool there but he still cannot summon me

You having defeated an area boss (like Margit) in your world is not the reason why your friend can't summon you.
Its either because his area boss is dead as well or because something is not working on his end.
We can check if being summoned in works on your end if you give me a password and put your sign near the Stormveil Main Gate site of grace.

Also, are you guys sure if you're using the correct items?
Is your friend using the Furlcalling Finger Remedy?

You need to put gold sign on the ground so he can reveal it with furlcalling finger remedy and as long you are using password your level doesn't matter. Then you can be summoned for any dungeon where boss was not yet defeated. And he should be able to summon you at stormveil main gate as the godrick is not yet defeated. And hopefully he is on pc too.

yes, i asked him to stream on discord for me and he literally used the furlcalling finger remedy but cannot see my summoning sign

Yes, he is on pc, and i also did use my gold sign many times but was still not able to see my sign

100% can guarantee you that he did multiplayer password and not the group one

Well, then it seems to be something on your friend's end I reckon, it might be a connection issue for all I know.
