Question about Grand Merchant mod.

So, i largely avoided using mods out of fear of messing up and getting myself banned, but from my understanding, using the mod engine alongside this mod WILL launch the game in a different manner that allows you to use it without any risk?

As in, launching the game from the mod folder, rather than Steam.

I know i should avoid getting cut content, but anything else i should avoid getting?

I would rather use it myself to be honest, but largely stuff for online play, like Rot Boluses, would also like certain armor/weapons that a bit too much of a pain to farm.

I saw a vid about the mod, and according to the vid, launching the game from the mod's folder should make it safe, can you confirm as someone that uses the mod?

Welp, tested it and it seems it works just fine, launching the game from the mod folder is safe, but obviously dont go online under any circumstances while using the mod, launch the game normally for that.

I have used it for 30h+ online

only coop though no PvP
its safe unless you are super stupid and make mistakes.....

I am also not banned on my seamless coop save file used in official multiplayer yet....
i used it for coop fights to test if i get banned as everybody here claims
about 1 month has passed
and everybody claims this will get you banned but nothing so far

i am pretty sure people who got banned made big mistakes by not reverting
the dinput8.dll or regulation.bin back to normal when using seamless coop saves...
ofc that will get you banned >-<
but thats user mistake not the mod

for example when they used mod loader to load any of the mods they manipulate dinput8.dll... and ofc if you dont delete that file and redownload orginal dinput8.dll
you will get banned but that has nothing to do with your save file lol

It's only a requirement for the mod to work at all. Even if you installed the mod correctly, it won't work if you launch the game like you usually do.

What makes things safe is disabling EAC prior to that and never going back online while you have any modded/cut items in your inventory. You can do the same through a CE table, which is a bit faster since you don't need to install anything.

Such tools are the sole reason why my RL 138 co-op harassment of Radagon is still going on. I don't have the patience to go out there and collect different items/smithing stones every time I want to switch my build because I got bored.
