Anyone got a good weapon tier list?
I googled a couple and they have very little in common.

I'm still using the Bloodhoud Fang, I like how much reach it has - but that could be said of all curved greatsword I suppose.

I'd love to hear the replies... 150hrs and I'm still on the fang. It's getting less relevant though. Have you tried adding incantations? They help a lot.

Just like in Dark Souls 1~Brone... I don't think I've ever used a buff or resin

Blasphemous blade is the best weapon in the game by quite a big margin.

If you have the correct setup the Weapon Art does ~ 3100 damage with long range and decent AOE while also healing you and having acceptable short animation

previous best weapon Fallingstar BeastJaw got nerfed into the ground.


Serpent Hunter could be the best weapon in the game if you manage to learn it.
it needs quite a bit of timing and positioning aswell as free-aim for headshots.
But if you manage to learn the weapon you can script many bossfights into 4hits per phase combos

Most somber weapons are viable even in ng+ along with the normal late game weapons and even some early ones too. It's just a matter of having the proper talismans. Almost ever boss weapon aside from Godricks axe and fire giants whip are extremely good

There are plenty of challenge runs using only joke/gimmick weapons and things like that. Compared to that, using any real weapon and upgrading/building around it is going to be much better and totally viable. At most you might need to switch damage types in some fights, and you can just do that with ashes of war or grease. So find whichever weapon you think is the coolest and build for it. Fashion is all you need in pve.

Fallingstar beast jaw is the weapon I switched to when I saw the fang started to let me down. And Radahn's Sword for close combat. Recommended!!!!

Prelates inferno is pretty good, also devoures scepter

Great stars: heal hp on hit, can be infused, passive bleed
star fist: fist wep(fast attacks) great poise damage with heavy attacks especially with braggarts/cragblade, passive bleed, infusable
marika's hammer: good hyper armor, decent damage, mostly physical damage, flashy
bastard's stars: highest damaging ash when stars align, magic damage
envoy's: bubbles, good poise damage
stone club: fast bonks, infusable, high str scaling
chainlink flail: passive bleed, infusable

bloodhound fang is one of those weapons that really traps noobs into a subpar weapon come late game. I mean levelling dex, cmon really? Anyway anchor is S 2 anchors is even essyer

laser beam sword is fine.
I tested it in 1.06 after nerf when everyone claimed it is not viable any longer
