The most underrated spell.

Nightmaiden's mist. This spell is immensely OP. Funny that no tactics facing Radahn made mention of it. After failing to have any success in suggested tactics online, I reverted back to my goto spell nightmaiden's mist and beat him easily (though it was still tedious). Certainly easier than rock sling. This spell takes down bosses, dissolves hoards and takes care of almost any opponents. If you have higher ground it's especially effective. Combine it with wraith bell for extra cheese. Fire off the slow moving balls then lay down a mist trap and run. Rinse and repeat. Make it even easier by leaving a powerful spirit ash to keep them in the mist.

Prob a reason ppl don't like using moist. Mist tho is pretty ok. Only thing about it is that it deals phys damage and isn't counted as a night sorcery along with ambush shard. Also creates a dead zone for the user if not careful. As for most underrated, idk I feel the oracle bubbles are more underrated given how much damage they can do. Or zamor given that it can hit through walls.

rock sling is actually much better and deals way more damage in that fight, no idea why you had issues with it

In my thousands of hours i never used a mist spell for real, just for the sake of experimenting so not a real fan (they are all pretty meh).

Also it destroys the FPS of some people!

Useful spell, especially if you're underleveled.
Can be charged to create even larger area of effect.

Wrecks Crystalians. Can kill them without aggroing them.

But for most bosses unless you have low Intelligence
or low Focus Points there are better, faster options.

I had no luck with rock sling against radahn. Use mist without lock on. Trick is to keep them in it. It melts anything in seconds. But you have to be using it properly to work. The problem with rock sling is you have to keep casting it. Mist can create a field you can then lure them. Their healthbar drops like nothing else.

thing about mist is that it always does the same damage no matter what staff you're using or how high your stats. and yeah it tanks my fps too.

Observation: Night maidens mist can damage FPS. No other spell can do that.

Conclusion: Night maidens mist is the most powerful spell.
