lol the issue isn't any mod, it's that you're trying to play online games on a Sunday morning on a major summer holiday in the USA. Even ER players like to touch grass every once in a while

get summoned practically same moment as I send sign to summon pools.

We calculated the usage of "that mod" several times, and it should be around 5% of players. And many of those wouldn't play online normally. So, no, it's not "that mod".

I've been playing offline with mods lately, and it's been great. But even when I did play without mods, it was never using any online features besides the messages.

All the DS type games are really single-player with some multiplayer tacked on, and rarely developed. This game is also getting fairly old now, and people have moved on. If you want multiplayer there are much better games out there.

ERs objectively a single player open word that happens to offer multiplayer.

Most players solo. If you want a good medieval combat multiplayer that’s always active, I’d reccomend chivalry II or for honor.
