Are deathbed smalls still banned?

I've been thinking of playing the game again, but I know I have a pair of those on one or two of my characters, and I'm pretty sure a friend I want to drag back into the game with me does too. Is there any way to avoid getting softbanned? If so, is there any way to save our characters?

Not really. I mean they might NOT ban you, you could try just dumping the items. I'd recommend you load up the game offline first and do it. You might still catch a ban down the road if your saves got flagged by their internal system. They could also just give you a warning and you'd have a window where you could delete your saves without getting banned, but you'd lose all your characters.

I really hope I don't have to restart all of my characters just because I picked up some panties, but thank you for your help. Hopefully I can find and discard the item and still have my characters.

As far as im aware they patched so you cant drop them now to others but having them on you could cause you to get a ban!!

Just make sure to do it while in offline mode.

Look on nexus mods for "anti cheat toggler and offline launcher" to be on the safe side when you try to get rid of them. Also, don't freak out when you start up the game this way and it says "inappropriate activity detected" in the main menu. That is 100% normal.

Doing this currently, thank you very much! I'll post back on how it goes once I've checked all my characters.

Just be aware that there can be a long delay between getting flagged and receiving a warning/ban - it can be weeks.

After scouring every one of my character's inventories, I found the one with the deahtbed smalls in it. It was tagged with [ERROR] in the item name. I then searched my character's inventories for anything else with the [ERROR] label on it and found nothing. After re-enabling anticheat and booting up in online mode again, I have not received a warning message.

Now I have the entire patch history to catch up on. I'd be frustrated if I weren't so happy about getting to keep my characters.
